Lift Craft Ltd is a family run business founded in the 1980s in the West Midlands, the heartland of the UK’s manufacturing and engineering expertise. The second-generation owners have been in the lift industry for over 40 years and the family have been lift engineers for more than over 60 years. Our Managing Director, Paul Haywood, is himself an accomplished lift engineer who has in-depth experience both of working on and managing all aspects of lifts from design through manufacturing and into installation and testing, so you can be confident of dealing with people who know about bespoke lifts. As one of only a handful of independent UK designers and manufacturers of bespoke lift solutions, we offer you the optimum bespoke solution to your needs.
Importantly for you, our independence allows us to select the right high-quality product for the wear, tear, and environment in which your lift must operate so rather than a standard package, you get the optimum kit of parts to suit cost plans and specifications. Our bespoke lift designs are built to last for over 20 years of normal operation with preventative maintenance, so they compare well with Consultant’s expectations based upon CIBSE Part M life cycles. Using our in-house team, Lift Craft Ltd offers a full range of lift related Works and Services including survey, design, manufacture, installation, refurbishment, testing, repair, and service which are all undertaken in accordance with our three certificated ISO systems (ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO45001).
Our certificated management systems which you can rely on, conform to the scope of “The Design, Manufacture, Installation and Test of Lifts throughout the United Kingdom.” This also incorporates our Lift Regulations 2016 Schedule 18 Certification (Ref: 1291). We can also provide you with ongoing 24/7/365 service, call out and repair which enables us to provide a full turnkey package for any lift work which you may require.
